Afternoon Activities & Tours (2.00pm-5.00pm)
Columbus English Language College organises a variety of different afternoon activities to suit all tastes and preferences.
The afternoon activities are an extension of the learning process that takes place in the mornings. The classes are designed to be interactive at all times and informal which necessitates active involvement in the activities and communication with other people to complete the tasks involved. Here are a sample of the afternoon activities that enhance social interaction and opportunities to engage and interact in English conversation:
- Drama & Singing – learning a repertoire of songs in English
- Animation, Film & Photography(Camera Club)
- Art and Sketching
- Sports available every afternoon – basketball, volleyball, badminton, football, soccer, athletics and rounders
Afternoon activities take place on three afternoons each week.
International students have the distinct advantage of mixing with Irish teenage and junior students in the afternoon activities. This allows them to practice their speaking skills, also develop new skills and make new friendships.
