About Dublin:

Dublin is the capital city of Ireland with a population of over one million people. It is a city of writers, artists and musicians and is known all over the world for its literary tradition. In 2010, Dublin was named as an UNESCO City of Literature. Famous Dublin writers include James Joyce, Samuel Beckett and Oscar Wilde. Dublin is also known as home to the world’s biggest rock music group – U2.

Dublin is regarded as a young and vibrant city. Dublin is an excellent place to visit and study English. It is a cosmopolitan European capital city and yet it is a relatively small city making it easy to get to know and navigate round. The Irish people are very friendly and like conversation. They will engage you in a chat “at the drop of a hat”.
